Beach Bend Test and Tune!
 

I went to Beach Bend today for there test and tune day with my friend who has a heavily modded Mustang GT. The STI is my favorite car....I hope to get one when I graduate college next May! Anyway my friend hates all foreign cars like a lot of Mustang owners. Anyway an STI was at the track today. The first car the guy ran against was an Mustang GT, and man did he smoke him. My friend just shook his head. The anouncer at the track did not even know what kind of car it was. He said before the lights went green that the Silver imort car did not stand a chance against the all American mucsle car. Boy was he wrong-The anouncer really ate his words on that one! Always great to see an STI beat up on a Mustang!

My local track can finally recognize a Subaru instead of just saying "some import." I run with a lot of the stock (or close to stock) LS1's and the only Mustang I bother with is my roommates Bullitt. I only race my roommate because it's fun to pick on his big V8 knowing I have a half second advantage in the 1/8th mile. So trust me, if the STI keeps showing up, it won't take long for the track to recognize how quick they are.
