I was wondering if its possible to put the stock WRX turbo onto a 1.8L GC8 engine?

Honestly you can put anything on anything...

if you put a turbo kit on the 1.8L, yes you could put a TD-04 (WRX OEM Turbo) on it.

Thanks. I just finished talking to Paul Eklund of Primitive Racing and he said that he would help me out in getting the turbo on.

Thats true. The thing is I'm going to check if I do a whole rebuild and put all new and upgrade internals in the engine it should be fine.

the 1.8 takes boost much better than the 2.5 you can run close to stock wrx boost levels for 10k-20k miles and if/when it does need a rebuild buy 2.0 pistons and rods and bore it out to 2.0 bore
