they actually got three in there!! i like them a lot.. interior is sick as hell!! And as for the rumor about how much they will cost.. there about the same as the 07's

 

i went and checked all 3 out today, the gm told me they will put $5000 on top of the sticker price. they had a wrb sti with the optional bbs goldies for the low low price of only $44,200. the cheapest one was just over $40000. subaru needs to be ***** slapped 40k thats rediculous

 

its only because of the mark up.. the white one w/ the bbs was 37 retail, and the 07 sti retail was 36.. so were talking 1000 dollar diff! mark up is for ***s!! if you have the money the'll work with ya

 

dont get me wrong i like the 08 , i just think turlock is overpriced and they are very bad with customers , just asking 44k is crazy after taxes licence and doc its near 50,000 dollars !!! if you have cash in hand or some good leverege then you can offer what you want but they are a hot item so some will pay it.

 

Wayyy too much money. I'd rather buy an 07 STI and throw that 10k into it

 

Ok ok guys.. i have 100 percent confermation that central valley will sale at suggested retail! i know this because i went down there pretending to be a buyer and they let me drive the sti, and the guy was so desprate to get me into one that he said he would give it to me at retail!

So woodward as far as you sayin you'd rather buy a 07 sti.. you can pick up an 08 for 1500 more!

I thought it was a sweet *** car, they have a white one with gold rims that just looks sick as hell.. Anyway just watned to let you know

was it the salesman that said he could do retail? normally the salesman actually have no say in what price the car is.

when i was in the market for an 07 wagon in june they would only do retail with me at turlock (i called the sales manager)...while every other dealership in northern california was selling for 15.9K. i went to autowest in roseville and i got in an arguement over the price with the salesman cause he said it was retail price and i told him i already discussed it with his manager. blah it was frustrating....i ended up getting it for $15195 beucase they delivered me the wrong color which im glad they did now lol
