Car Info: 2002 WRB WRX / 06 f150 King Ranch
The enigne build was over 4k
The turbo kit with some changes 3.5k
The TEC 3 PEMS 3k
Clutch/flywheel combo 0.7k
Seats STi front and rear 2k
Gauge pack Omori 0.7k shipped with panel and pod
Suspension system 1k
Wheels and tires 2k
Brakes pads rotors braided lines 0.7k
RB wing and painted side skirts 0.5k
4 k in various labor and dyno tuning at a minimum.
Kickin a C5 vette or a WRX in the ***... Priceless...
I am sure I missed something along the way in numbers.
I am losing my shorts on this car. Trust me. Check blue book for a bone stock car with the low milage. It's an sweet deal.
jtibitt and sscguy, Both of you are way off. You would never never ever get a built up engine, turbo and PEMS for under 7k not even installed. A good engine build would and indeed costs about 4k done right. STi seats brand new front and rear??? 1k. I wish. Show me a place that sells front and rears for 1k that are BRAND NEW for 1k. I don't think so. Not a bad guess though. The 7-9 k range was close but not a winner. If you sourced everything second hand then you would be close. But, I don't do second hand. Eveyrthing was purchsed new. I am **** that way.
J5,
There are two interested parties in the car at the moment. One fellow from New York and the other from Saudi Arabia. Both are trying to gather finances. The person from Saudi is running out of time and I am running out of patience with him. At the moment, first come first serve. The first 17.5 k takes the car. If you get the car, you would have to pre arrange smog and get it taken car of. The other parties don't have to worry about smog. Technicaly, I have to take care of smog here in California. If it comes to that, I will part out the car or decide to keep her and finish her out. I hope the car will sell to avoid parting out. We will see.

Oh, Ryan...
Funny you should ask about the reg on the car... It showed up in the mail on Saturday. It's due by the end of October.

My apologies Hayscoob, I didn't remember all the details, and also didn't know everything (seats, etc.) was purchased brand new. Whatever the case, that's making this deal more and more fantastic, and now I'm wishing I was in CA so I could buy it...

Ryan,
It's $330 or so. Not too bad. It's still a rip off here in California.
sscguy,
No problem... it is a good deal. Fly out and drive her back
