FS: (NOVA/DC/MD) 2004 PSM Silver Impreza STi-525bhp Perrin GT30R, Meth

Cliffs Notes: $17,000, No trades.

Up for sale is my modified 2004 Subaru Impreza STI. If you're looking for a track/strip-ready monster that you can drive legally and comfortably on the streets, read on! =)

Starting with the already very competent STI frame, parts from Perrin Performance have added an extra 225 BHP, making this one of the fastest cars you might come across. The Perrin kit uses a GT30R dual ball-bearing turbo, custom mandrel-bent intercooler tubing, Perrin equal-length header, and the Perrin stealth front-mount intercooler. Exhaust is handled through a proper-sized full 3" Injen. Jermaine Riddick of TurboXS professionally dyno and street-tuned the UTEC to produce 426 all-wheel horsepower. Putting that in perspective, this car's power-to-weight ratio makes you as fast or faster than today's Porsche 911 Turbo, Corvette Z06, BMW M5, Ferrari F430... the list goes on.

The motor is extremely healthy, even with this level of power. It's properly tuned, and rarely run on the full 23psi. I set AVC-R to the spring-setting of about 20-21psi for daily driving. Along these lines, I had a leakdown test performed a year ago which yielded 0% on two cylinders and 1% on the other two. I didn't think numbers this low were possible, but that's what the test showed. Needless to say, this is a very healthy motor.

Beyond power, the suspension has been upgraded with a set of Whiteline G4 fully-adjustable coilovers on the corners. They're adjusted for firmness by hand and by height with a simple tool included. Further stiffening the frame are GT-spec underbraces and Perrin swaybars. The stock Brembo brakes have been left alone for stopping duties, because there's not much more to be added there.

The wheels are Enkei 18", wrapped with BFGoodrich SuperSport All-Season tires with about 95% tread left. The body condition and paint are both in excellent condition, with no door dings. There's one small gash on the rear-right fender that isn't noticeable unless you look for it.

There's a two issues I should mention with this car, the A/C isn't working and the hood has some fading. I'm happy to fix either problem at cost. The A/C (needs new compressor) for $950 and the hood for $450. Heat and the fan work like new, so there's no worry with winter coming up. The hood is a carbon-fiber Seibon CW2 which shows some fading on the top from the heat produced from the exhaust-manifold (call it battle wounds!). I can find a replacement stock or CF hood if a buyer chooses.

Breakdown of parts:
Rotated Turbo Kit: $3530
Equal Length Header: $765
Coilovers: $2000
Guages in bezel: $200
Enkei Wheels: $800
ACT Clutch: $450
Injen Exhaust: $700
SMC Alcohol/Water Injection:$500
Underbrace/sway bars: $400
AVC-R Boost Controller: $500
Shortshifter, body kit, and many other miscellaneous parts...

As you can see there's over $10,000 in aftermarket parts installed on this vehicle, but I'm only asking the Kelly Blue Book value of $17,000. It has 85,xxx miles and I'm only selling because I just bought a house and need to free up cash for my mortgage. I'm relatively firm on this very fair price, but feel free to make your offers!
