I am selling this for a freind. This is a car that i have built and maintained completely. My freind was looking for a 2nd awd car bc he owns a 350Z.

The original owner bought the vehicle in Pennsylvania (1995) and drove it as a commuter car until Sept 2005. Since I purchased the vehicle in Sept 2005 it has received many new parts and power/suspension upgrades (See list below). This Subaru was a second car for me and a winter driver. I am looking to buy a motorcycle and unfortunately I do not have the space for 2 toys. This is a RUST FREE car with many modifications. It has endured the South Jersey Pine Barrens Rally (PBX) [See picture below] and several Auto-X’s to date.

Listed below is a 2001 RS 2.5L motor with approximately 60k mi from the previous car which has been swapped into this stock 1995 Impreza L 4-door . The motor has less than 5k mi on it in the current car and runs strong all the way to redline. I drive the vehicle 1 -2 times per week and everything works very well including the Heat and A/C.

Disclosures:

About one month ago a speed sensitive low pitched droning noise was coming from the rear of the vehicle. After some investigation it turns out that the rear differential has failed. I do not have the time to replace the differential, so it will be sold as is. In addition any cold start up to the vehicle requires an extra couple seconds of cranking. I am not sure why, but it does start up every time and requires 2-3 minutes of idle to run properly. After several minutes of idle the vehicle runs and drives flawlessly. This Subaru is a secondary vehicle so when it was repainted I did not elect to spray the door jams (extra cost) which in turn are currently red while the exterior is Gunmetal Gray. I replaced the front bumper and trunk lid because the plastic tags were broken off the side that attach to the fender. A friend needed a trunk with a wing so we swapped our trunk lids and I inherited a trunk with a stock wing.
