Hello there,

Offering my 2004 STI for sale finally. It has been a great ride with this car; we have been through a lot together ha. This car has always been garaged, and has been in California the majority of its life. This car has been modified with two goals in mind; reliability, and efficiency.
Eight thousand miles ago I was on my annual trip to MN when my oil pressure started to drop. I was extremely concerned about this so I took it to MAP for diagnosis. They said they heard rod knock and I should have it rebuild immediately. I had asked them if they could do it, but they were a month out on work. The decision was then made to ship it back to CA and have it rebuilt at GST Motorsports. When I had him estimate the build, I was shocked what a stock motor would cost vs a full build; naturally I went with the full build and opted to do it right. When GST pulled the motor apart they found that the oil pickup tube was sitting in the bottom of the oil pan. At that point I was pissed that I found that Subaru made a colossal mistake brazing the oil pickup tube to the base flange…..
I am glad I chose to go with mike for engine build because he built a very solid powertrain for the car.
When the rebuild was belts s done, I had everything replaced with new. Water pump, timing belt, thermostat, accessory belts, all pulleys and idlers, etc.
This car needs a new home so I can move on to my next project. I’m thinking something in the rotary side of things.
The title is clean and I have it in hand.

OK on to the goods 
