What kind of fluid does a viscous coupling use?

Question What kind of fluid does a viscous coupling use?

This just kinda came to me in a dream or something. What type of fluid on earth thickens when heated to the point where it can move a 3000-lb car? It's like this miracle fluid defies the laws of physics and thermodynamics and stuff. Does the stuff come in bottles or is it rare and expensive? Just wondering.

non-Newtonian also called reopectic fluids. Instead of getting thinner with heated or sheared it gets thicker.
