Unforgettable Sandwich Thread!
Post your favorite sandwich and where you had it! I am a huge sandwich fan, and always like to hear about new places to try.
I'll start: Place: Mario's Cigar Bar on Columbus St in North beach, San Francisco Type of Sandwich: Meatball Sandwich with provolone Possibly the best meatball sandwich I have ever had, now I go there at least once a week. There are some more, I will post later! Lets here your recommendations! |
If you guys ever come down to SoCal go to Mario's Deli in Glendale and Bay City Deli in Santa Monica and order "The Godmother" with the works. :)

^^please elaborate!

If you ever head all the way down to the San Diego area you have to go to Board N' Brew they have some great sandwiches. The double decker which is Turkey avocado bacon and then they have a baja beef that is just 100% awesome haha
|
The place for me is in Chico. Its called Kathy's deli and they make the best pastrami sandwhich.
do you want it in random thoughts or car lounge?
and no one better say subway or you will die
haha wow..umm..oh well ill take my chances since u never see north of santa barbara...:) for those who like philly cheese steak: Subway: Foot long philly cheese steak on white with marinara sauce on both sides of the bread with onion, (green) peppers, and some jalapenos. I get no chz because i only like chz on pizza and pastas but i bet it tastes amazing with it! Try it! its obviously more than the $5 footlong but u get 4 trays of meat. toast it too |
I am also a sandwich fanatic, but I dont count Subway and Quiznos as real sandwiches..
Here are my only 2 pics! South San Francisco: Little Lucas Deli San Bruno: Mr. Pickles |
