I need your opinion about getting a new car....Please!
My 02 WRX is almost sold and I'm in the process of buying a new car. Initially I was gonna get something in the 50K range, but I've decided to buy a cheaper car and do something else with the money. I'm debating between these cars:
E36 M3 (1997-1999)
BMW M Roadster (1999-2000)
Audi S4 (2000-2001)
I absolutely love all 3 cars, so I'm trying to decided which one to get. The E36 M3 is a nice car. They're starting to look old, but I still like them. I also like the M-Roadster, I drove one and it's got lots of space even though I'm 6' 4. I don't mind the fact that it's a 2-seater and it's convertible. The S4 is a great car too, it might cost me a bit more than the BMW's. I want to know what you guys think about these cars. I'm not planning on moding these cars (performance wise). Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Amir,

is price not a factor when deciding on those 3?
if so, i would say get the S4 but I have always loved the E36 M3's.
E36 M3 (1997-1999) - 20-25k ?
BMW M Roadster (1999-2000) 25k ?
Audi S4 (2000-2001) 20-25k ?

I would only get the BMW M-Roadster if it's 2001 or newer for the S54 engine.
The M Roadster engine delivers 315 hp and 251 lb- lbft. of torque ft. – fully 75 hp and 15 lb-ft. more than the previous engine’s output.

E36 coupe or sedan, no question. S4 would be slow and a money pit, roadster just makes you look like a gay guy who drives fast. E36 is classic, cant beat it.
