the question is, are they going to do the same thing to the 'cuda?

Nice. Finally a nice V8 RWD alternative to the Mustang. Not Pontiac and Chevy need to follow suit and build modern renditions of the Fire Bird/Trans Am and Camero.

damn, that thing is sweet

I'm a little tired of the retro looking (Mustang) and the spaceship/electric car looking new cars (new Civic). What happened to cars that look like cars?

scustoms 12-02-2005 05:29 PM

isn't chevy bringing back the camero?

OwlBoogie 12-02-2005 05:44 PM

Give me a ride!

mattsn0w 12-02-2005 06:37 PM

that car is exactly what I was hoping for. I was pissed about the stupi 4 door charger.
Though I am kind of hoping chevy does the same when they bring back the camero, cause frankly, the last 20 years of camero looks suck ass. The classic 60's look was awesome and has been a dream car of mine since I was 12.

I still don't really see myself owning a domestic vehicle though. If I get a truck, it will be a toyota or nissan. my next sports car will either be a BMW Z3 M roadster, BMW M-Coupe, or STi swap in to my wagon. Will just have to see what the next couple years brings. :)

How come the sketch looks 10x better than the actual car?

RussB 12-02-2005 09:29 PM

that looks pretty good. doesn't look huge either, a tad smaller than the charger and pretty low slung. hopefully the production car looks similar.

Calsoldier 12-02-2005 10:32 PM

The rims on it look pretty huge, but the overall look is pretty cool. I kinda like the new cars with the retro look to them, although the rear end of the new mustang is not so good looking.

Oh wow! That does looks like challenger. I would get it in a heart beat if the production model will look almost exactly like that. 6 Liter Hemi, would that be like 400 + horse power? I might have to consider saying good bye to my rex...this is a asian saying this...Man, I remember getting a ride in a original challenger when I was in high-school. That thing had power, but bad handling. May be I'll keep wrx as a commuter and challenger for you know what.

krzyxrevver12 12-03-2005 04:19 AM

+1, i'd sell my civic for that, and i wouldnt sell my civic for a lot of things.. haha

glenspen 12-03-2005 06:04 AM

Getting out of my buddy's new GTO and into a charger hemi was an unpleasant experience. Instead of leather bucket seats you get these slidey armchairs, then theres the semi-auto only transmission...not a great feeling. Line them up next to each other and to me the charger looks bloated and plastic compared to a GTO.

I hope this new challenger concept is better cos it looks sweet.
