i love calaveras... sierra road of of summit is even more fun. but calaveras is beautiful.

The only thing I don't like about Calaveras is the difficulty seeing others coming the other direction on the road. There is the fact that it doesn't have much in terms of gaurd rails incase you miss.

I actually prefer to drive it at night if I do, since I can generally see headlights better if someone is coming the other way. Best is right after a rain when you [i]know[/i] nobody's going to be there.

i love calaveras... hehe... i'd drive through it in any car actually, well except for my 280z which brakes for sh##

I seriously hate that road. Off camber, one lane and there are usually cars on it which makes a lethal combo.
