Who makes a good Low Profile Floor Jack?

My car isn't necessarily that low, but my floor jack weighs a ton (Craftsman). It's a solid floor jack, but looking for something more lightweight and low profile.

So who makes a good lightweight, low profile floor jack for a decent price? I've seen some listed at $300+ and really not looking to spend that kind of money.

I've also considered picking up a set of Ramps as well as I've seen some for sale over at Autozone.

Harbor Freight.

There's a coupon somewhere for that thing as well.

I dunno, I've seen more than a few of those that were broken. Napa Auto parts has a great 2 and 3 ton low profile jack. If you go in the store it's cheaper in your local store than online and it's actually lower than the harbor freight jack.

2 ton (4000lb): http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Det...402_0006396327 (~200 dollars)

Harbor Freight: 3-3/8" minimum height

Napa: 2.75" minimum height

If you aren't willing to put down that much money, the JCWhitney 3 ton jack is way better then harbor freight and almost as low as the napa one:
(This is actually a Torin Jack)http://www.jcwhitney.com/3-ton-super...terid=c21483j1 (~100 dollars but 65 shipping)

I picked these up at PepBoys. They have coupons every once in a while.

Note though - the rubber stops on the bottom can slip off/pop out. Make sure have a chock to stop the ramp!

+1 to the cheap aluminum HF floor jack and have been using it for a long time now. No issues. Many autocrossers use them as well. Can't beat them for like 50-60 bucks

My local Napa store has it on the floor for 180 bucks. It says 220 online according to what I linked. I also showed the other jack, but yeah. I think for 180 bucks it's well worth it based on the lifting arm's superior design and general longevity of the product.

+1 for the harbor freight jack. got that exact one 2 years ago. been working great since. pretty much just use it for oil changes and a bunch of upgrades.. nothing too crazy. used it to save a couple of friends with lowered cars when their tire went out.

Harborfreight ones are very legit! I think it's the most popular jack in track days.
