White 2006 STi on the side of 101 with a flatbed and 2 chp...what happened?
In San Jose on the side of 101 around 11:45 tonight (9/1). Saw something in this order, from closest to me to front of the line:
white 2006 STi flatbed tow truck chp chp wtfm8? I don't think the driver was in handcuffs or in the squad car....so maybe the car just broke down? |
Umm...the car broken down scenario doesn't require 2 CHP units.
Someone probably either participating in high speed antics or excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages and being stupid. |
The important thing is that they used a flatbed.
|
CHP do come and wait with you sometimes.....if you get the one nice guy in each department.....but 2? yeah, seems less like he broke down :p
|
I'm sure they wrote him up for something. That doesn't mean he didn't break down though. I've had several officers show just for writing me up for a generic ticket. They seriously have nothing to do but plunder the people.
|
given I saw about 10 chp cars between San Mateo and Gilroy (I fell asleep by gilroy...someone else was driving) they actually could have very well been working in tandem, I did see another pair of squad cars working together before that
come on man! post up what happened :p |

hahaha amen. |
be careful this week. and watchout for the 21.
|
might have just broke down. i think this weekend the CHP are running in pairs for safety and tag team efforts because of the holiday.
everyone becareful and hope the white sti owner and car are okie. +1 for flat bed truck |
honestly I dont think it was just broke down, not an 06 STI. Its probably speeding or something like that.
|
may be 100+mph and impound, ouch
I got pulled over last night driving down to LA in kettle man city, the cop let me go though =P |
^^^u got lucky. everyone is getting their ass handed to them this weekend.
|
went to reno yesterday and saw about 20+ cops/chps to and back...
|
yeah CHP was out in full force this weekend...they were allllll over the bay area!
|
I saw two motor cycle CHPs on 880s around Hayward yesterday, they were on the left shoulder lane with radar guns on their hands. It's the first time I see them using a radar gun on the left shoulder EVER!
