Here's whats on my menu this month...

Taketsuru 12, nice mild flavor that everyone seems to like. Makes a great old fashioned.

Corsair Triple Smoke, particularly buttery and thick when served neat. sweet, smoky, and a little fruity. I like it, but it's not too popular with my friends.

Breaking and Entering, a nice spicy and sweet flavorful bourbon.

Scotch, because sometimes there can be no substitute. This one is creamy, smoky, full flavored and thick, and overall well balanced experience.
And good old Johnny Walker is always there. I've had Red Label, Black, Double Black, 12 year Black, Green, Gold, Platinum, and Blue at one time or another. Of course Blue is top notch stuff but it's a little pricey and IMO not good enough to justify the cost when there is so much other good stuff available at half the price. I like Black and Gold the most for those times when I just need something simple and familiar or to stand up to a beer chaser.
