Where in the Eastbay to mount tires and balancing?
Hi all,
For those who live in the eastbay in the Berkeley and El cerrito Area, where is a good place to get my new tires mounted and balanced? Some shop that does a go job and knows where the lifting points at? (at a reasonable price) and does no harm to our cars.....
thanks all,

I know that you may need it now but as of mid January we, GST Motorsports, will be able to mount and balance tires here with a educated and car friendly staff!
Thanks,
Greg

There's a place on San Pablo Ave in Berkeley that many people I know have used and liked. I can't remember the exact name, but its something like Option and is on the east side of San Pablo between Cedar and Gilman. Hope that helps.
Hi all,
Here is the update I got it installed today at Big "O" in Richmond. They did a pretty good job. They mounted my Toyo PROXES 4 245/45ZR17 99W no problems with also pink springs on.

Big "O" had to take the old tires off the car and mount the new ones. Total cost is $80 even. That includes mount, balanced and disposed the old tires. They were worried the 245/45/17 wouldn't fit my car, so they adviced me to mount one tire first to the rear and see if it would work. If it didn't work I wouldn't have to spend $80 for mounting all 4 tires.
But the answers I got from the forums said it would work fine the 245/45/17.

You can also try Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, they do a great job and charge a very competitive price. Their number is 510-783-8383.
