Where can I get miso paste in Palo Alto?

Smoking a pork butt today and I am thinking about making ramen from scratch. Anyone know where I can get miso paste. Safeway and Mollie stones does not have it.

Here is a pic of my last ramen attempt with a non miso based broth.

you could drive to mitsuwa market, the address is 675 Saratoga Ave
San Jose, CA 95129.

or if there is a 99 ranch that's even closer, they SHOULD have miso paste. but mitsuwa is a sure bet

btw, the best ramen broth in my opinion would definitely have to be tonkotsu, all you need is alot of pork bones and several hours to cook the **** out of them <3

Ya tonkotsu is my favorite but I don't have a slow cooker. I am going to do a ground chicken and miso based broth. I was hoping not to drive quite that far for miso paste.

(650) 325-2046 <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Call them and check, judging from the picture on google maps, they seem to stock japanese goods, saw some sake and curry and what not

Only other place would be a small local asian store... the asian mall in cupertino might have a grocery store that stocks it
