Where to buy sashimi grade fish on the peninsula/SB?

I'm making sushi on NYE, and wanted to know where to buy the fish from?? I took a look at Ranch 99, but they only have sake and maguro. Anywhere else have a better variety? Don't want to get sick..... :barf:

Nijiya market or any of the Japanese grocery stores in the south bay.

I take no liability for the sick part haha, that seems to be luck of the draw

I wish I could get some of that up here. I love sashimi, but anything sushi grade is nonexistent here.

There is a Nijiya here in San Mateo, I'll take a look at them too.

coming from being a son of a sushi chef, nijiya probably will have the "best" within your reach. still i cant stand the quality of fish that is frozen and infused with color... no matter if it says fresh or not.

Thanks for the heads up. Are the frozen one's just poor in taste and texture quality? or the safety quality?

It's been a while since I've been there, but the Kukje market on Juniperro Serra Blvd in Daly City also carries fish.
