Wheel Powdercoating question

Is the powdercoat thick enough to fill in curb rash and minor imperfections?

What Mike said... Plus powder coating is the same thickness as paint so the answer is no.

Any ideas where in the South Bay/Santa Cruz to get powder coating on wheels done? How much does it cost?

Does that include stripping the paint off and powdercoating them?

I've never had wheels powdercoated before but I think they just shoot over the wheels as is . He said I didn't need to sand them or strip anything.

You can prep them yourself, if your concerned. Some sanding and steel wool is all you need.

wheels have to be 100% bare metal, thats how powder coating works by running an electric charge though the wheel that the powder is drawn and sticks too. you better make sure thats included.

40 bucks is cheap. I have heard higher quotes. Ask for examples of quality and make sure it includes sand blasting. If it does I would be interested in getting my track wheels done.
