Michelin PS2's. Hated them. Crappy sidewall but good ride and low noise. Also HELLA expensive ($1k OTD).

Then Falken Azenis. Liked them a lot. Wore out fast.

Now Bridgestone RE-01R's.

The Toyo's suck booty.
I agree, I've been through a couple sets of old Yokohama AVS-50 intermediates, a couple sets of Michelin Pilot Sports, a set of Michelin Artic Alpin snows, two sets of studded Cooper weathermasters, I think 4 sets of Sumitomo M&S's and one set of Toyo Proxy-4.

I have a set of Kuhmo Solas on now with a set of Eagle F-1's on the 17's

Of all the above, I think I was least impressed with the Proxy-4.

While the AVS and Pilot Sports were useless in snow, they were great summer tires, as are the Eagle F-1's.
the AA's and the Weathermasters aren't much fun away from snow and ice as one might expect.
the Sumitomo's were OK all around although not exceptional at anything, but at least they could be rotated- where the proxy-4s kind of suck at everything and are directional so you wear then down once, swap front to back and get ready to throw them away.

I think I'd get a set of just about anything else before getting them again.

I prefer the RE-01R to the RT-615. Both are great tires but the RE-01R's just feel better overall. It has a softer sidewall but it just keeps gripping in turns. Also the RE-01R's aren't very noisy like the 615's.
