NO, thats why you use fine grade...for glass. It says so right on the package. Trust me...I detail...remember

All the Body Shops that I have worked at, use the steel wool to clean parts like that.

buy it at OSH or something like that....read the label, it will say the grade....like "00, 000, 0000" (0000= finest). I use "000". It works good on the chrome exhaust tip. Glass too.

Really, you have to turn razorlab? Oh yeah, that's what i've been doing eleven times a lap at laguna for the past seven years. But if you can run 1:52's in a stock STi all day long, then you can reply.

Well, I am not going to give away all my detailing secrets...but use a razor blade for getting heavy stuff off the widshield, then follow up with the "fine" grade steel wool

While we're on topic, anyone else have a fine layer of grease from the wiper blades that you can't get off? I can barely see it but I know it's there. It fogs up when I clean the glass. I've tried degreasers, nothing removes it.
