the current SSC cover is of a red SPc C vs and evo FQ300.

this thread shows that a UK mag had the article last year:

further down that link a guy emailed SCC's editor and said they regularly buy or use freelancers...

but they messed up on the cover shot though...

Car is simply the best, I remember a few years ago when the bug eyes weren't out yet and they compared all the imprezas....P1 Impreza was SO hot

check out Grassroots Motorsports, Modified and EVO those are some decent magazines though Modified is made by the same folks who make SCC so that might just knock off their journalistic integrity from the start.

I have the 1st issue of EVO - I was there when they started. Picked it up at a welcome break on the way back from London and actually sat there to read the whole thing.

SCC blows. Their highly opinionated "journalism" is very often stupid (IMHO) if not just plain wrong at times. A lot of it is just not really what I like (writing an article about how they painted a STi flat black admittedly for no reason while other mags have articles about what cars can do and stuff).

Anyway, with EVO I feel like I have driven the car after the article. With SCC, I would wipe my **** with it if it were a little more soft and absorbent. I'm glad to see they are caught red-handed.
