We're voting on the most popular design in two variations, the original black and white design, or the black and orange.

Here they are:



Design # 1, the original black and white design: (The drawback to this design is that it has 3 colors which means it will cost more, not by much, but around $1 more per shirt for each and every one of them. So lets say the original black and white design cost $13 a shirt, this design would cost $14 a shirt because it has orange letters, that's not the real price, I'm pulling it out of my arse just for example)

Option 3 (or option 4 in the poll cuz I screwed up the order) is the original design, only WITHOUT THE ORANGE LETTERS! I made this option because it will save money by not using a third color, it will only be two colors which will save about $1 per shirt. Just imagine the first option only with all black letters instead of the orange ones, not a huge difference but it will save you a buck or so)

If you plan on getting a shirt, please vote for a design. Folks that don't want a shirt, please don't vote for either option and use the third option.

I don't know what the deal with hoodies is, I'd like to offer a hoodie choice but don't know how much they cost at the moment and I don't want to have the option of they are a rip off, I will find out and you will know when the shirts are put up for sale.

The first design is really nice. I think it would really benefit from one more orange element to make it the orange "bay area" a little less random.

It's actually one design just a diff color, and the most popular. Look at the graphic design thread for more info. I need to get this rolling so that we can make the shirts in time. This is def the best design, I was hoping that someone like owlboogie would throw down one of his famous designs, but that didn't happen, but silverbullet's design is really cool. That's not the final draft, it's his rough draft so Im not sure what the final would look like or if it would be any different.

I think it looks alot better in some color than in black and white. I like the orange very "L" esque if you ask me.......lol

It's weird, almost everyone can see it, only a handful of folks can't... I hosted it on 2 sites too! Photobucket (which was already hosted by the designer) and i-club garage... I posted them correctly its just that you can't see the hosted image for some reason, like you don't have permission or something... *shrugs*

I like 2. the bugeye needs to be cleaned up a bit i think though. loose some of the lines.

#2 and #3 came through though... Can anyone describe #1? Is it completely different than #2 and #3?

I like #2... it's super clean, but I'd rather have blue instead of orange. Also, on the back of the shirt, have the i-club logo on the bottom and the Subaru logo at the top.

i like 1 and 3 because they say Bay Area meet as opposed to Novato, CA

Possible to make it so its option 2 with all orange switched to a WRB lookin color? or possibly the blue from option 3? :-D

Jourdan, option 1 is exactly like option 3 but white background, black lines and the word "bay area" in 9th annual Bay area meet is orange

i like option 2 even though i'm not from the bay area i still plan on attending, oh yeah did i mention #2 looks sweet GO GIANTS!

Oh wow! That's an AMAZING redesign! I'd LOVE to have this on the shirt! Who else is with me? It's still like #2 but touched up very nicely with some added minor details that work REALLY well!

Are we going to have a choice between a black shirt or white shirt like previous yrs?

hehehe, thanks guys. i am glad you like it :happy: its still your design tho brucelee :rolleyes: but yeah, its somewhat a universal design cause it would work on a black shirt or a white shirt.

SamuiArashi, I like your iteration as well as mine (#2 ) of silverbullet415's original design. I can go either way and be happy. The only thing I might suggest is a couple little clean-up of some general design elements details:

~ Evened out the bold black outline around the serifs of the letter "B" (red arrows)

~ I moved the date out of the 08/09 box. Felt out of place since non of the other panels had text. Also since the panels are "features" I felt they each should have nothing else on them (ie: text) otherwise it takes away from the art.

~ Also flushed the "novato, ca" against the vertical line on it's right side. (flush right)

~ lastly, not sure what color tee-shirt we would have, but on a white tee-shirt the orange text on white may be hard to read.

Yeah, I think thats the design we're going to use... Everyone I've showed it to (compared to the others) has thought it was much better for a shirt. I haven't heard anyone that opposes... Its still the original design from Silverbullet with someone esles touch, and man! Does that look great or what!?

I think this will go on either white or black shirts... Im thinking black would be the best.

^^^Y'all are definitely getting the design dialed in now! adizon's tweaks of SamuiArashi's re-working of silverbullet415's original looks AWESOME!

I may be late on this, but have we come to a consensus on the date format? "8.09.09" looks a bit funky to me. I think "08.09.09" is more consistent. Ya know, since there's a lead zero for the day (the 1st "09"), shouldn't there be one for the month? And having the year as "09" is a gimme, so no issue there.

Finally, as Gus said, the orange text might have readability issues on a white Tee. Are we sticking w/ orange in the screen? I know others have suggested other colors.

Daniel, I know ya said likely on a black T (maybe white), but I think a WRB Tee would look sweet. We could even change the orange to yellow or cherry blossom red. Since I have ZERO photoshop skillz, someone else would need to run those mock-ups.

Yeah, WRB would look good only if the colors were changed, but if we keep orange, wrb would clash like crazy

Gentlemen... we have a winner!

The new design is tits, and I love it, but I don't like the black outlined letters, it makes it look VERY MS-PAINT Meets MS-Clip art, you know what I mean, those pre-made tacky fonts that they have in clip art... I dunno, maybe being married to a really good graphic artist has jaded me a bit, but I just don't like it... The non-black bordered lettering looks much more crisp and clean.

All we need is the vendor logos to go on the back of the shirt. They will follow the same color scheme as the front... This needs to happen SOON if you guys want shirt because I need to get this to the shirt makers to get a solid price, and then I will start a pre-order thread where people can pre-pay for their shirts so I know exactly how many I'll put into the order. Sadly, if you don't pre-pay, then you can't have a shirt because they want the money up front, and I can't afford to pre-pay for 100 or so shirts and take the chance of people flaking and not actually buying one which will stick me with a shirt that I don't want and eating the price of the said shirt. :(

To avoid that, I need all the money up front to be able to fill the order. I'll have prices for the shirt as soon as its done, so the sooner the better!

I am hoping you mean THIS year. BAM X has a nice graphical feel to it, as opposed to BAM 10. Should switch to Roman numerals for this year's logo. :)

The black white and orange looks sick. Very nice design. When and where will this take place? I'm down to help set up or do anything that I can help with. Let me know, it looks interesting and would be a good experience for a newbie like myself.

Yeah, I have stuff for the both of you, it's just a matter of meeting up to do the exchange. The last couple of months have been especially hard with my accident (broken arm and ankle which means that I couldnt drive),work and moving into our new house which has been consuming my time. In the worst case, and I mean WORST case, you'll get your stuff at the meet, lol. If you guys are in the SJ area hit me up... Maybe we'll do a mini meet where I can either give you your shirt/hoodie or at least a refund... There are a couple more people that I've stayed in touch with that haven't been able to meet up with due to conflicts in schedule, etc. Don't worry though, you know I'm good for my word and you'll get your stuff, it's just a matter of getting together to swap!
