UR for sure, no comparing the two. fitment is perfect on the ur where the perrin isn't. UR uses a true 3" exhaust housing. UR is external so you will make good power.

ProjektSTi - LOL? that comment makes no sense...

holy crap! davon made the only real response on this thread lol.

Both the Perrin and UR are external. The main difference, besides some fitment, is the UR bigMAF goes in the wheelwell and the Perrin's does not.

Some people say the Perrin MAF housing will heat up and skew readings, as well as intake funky and mess up drivability.

Really, though, if you are going rotated you should already have the money and be doing one of a couple things:

1. Blow through - you can take the MAF housing the comes w/ the kit and splice it into the FMIC piping post turbo and use that. Now the rotated intake itself is expensive so this is really dumb.
2. Speed density based EMS

lol, also to remember the UR WG dumps to atmo and the Perrin dumps to the dp. If you use the Perrin kit with an 05+ stiyou have to shave a little of the tranny for the WG to clear.

o i didn't know that. damn that's a big negative for the UR then? your car will sound like a lawnmower on steroids.

yea in my post i meant external dump with the UR kit since the perrin is routed back into the downpipe.

it's an advantage if you are looking to make the most power. i loved the way my car sounded with the external gate, it was very aggressive sounding and didn't sound like a lawnmower.
