TV vs. Internet

1.If you could only have one, which would you choose? Why?

2.Also how many hours do you spend on either/both per week?

(and you couldn't hook up the TV tuner thing to your computer!)

me:

1. I'd choose internet. Haven't had cable for over a year, and have managed w/out it. + Trying to read more!

2. about: TV=2hrs/wk. Internet= 15hrs/wk.

1. I'd choose internet, because it's more usefull/informative then a tv.
2. tv = 14hrs
internet = 40hrs

The internet is like a swiss army knife while t.v. is a single purpose tool. Internet FTW

Internet is way better than TV in almost all aspects. Only thing that TV still really wins out on is if you want to watch any sort of sport. Highlight replays on ESPN or YouTube just don't cut it.

1. internet because it is so much more vast. plus you can download any tv show you want off the internet and watch it. So what is even the point of TV?

2. I spend about 70-80 hours per week in front of a computer. Not necessarily always on the internet though. tv about 4 hours per week where I watch specific shows. Otherwise the TV is on while I am in front of the computer as background noise.

you can watch videos and buy tv shows off the internet and watch them on your computer (itunes, youtube, google video)

you cant surf the web on a traditional tv.

(i am assuming you cant get internet on your tv for the intent of this poll)
