Cool car but why copy and paste from another forum  Your smileys are all wrong

slugrx 04-08-2013 09:11 AM

I like the stock wheel up front and the sort-of stock looking wheel in rear with the massive tire haha

hahah too lazy to type it up, and some people might not visit the other forum i posted this in,
I like the stock wheel up front and the sort-of stock looking wheel in rear with the massive tire haha
the car has a huge rake, the rear wheel diameter right now sits at 26.5 inches while the front i believe is in the 22 inches range and its nearly tucking the stock tire lol

so its really raked, those are stock Saleen wheels with 265/40/18 Mickey Thompson ET Streets II Drag Radials

Interesting...out of curiosity, why/what is the purpose of the project? It looks like it was an expensive pain to shoehorn that engine/trannt into that chassis...

...also please tell me he has plans to upgrade his brakes beyond the stock set up (or at least that's what is looks like).

sigma pi 04-08-2013 02:49 PM

have you seen the CPR 240Z?

well the purpose this car is built for might not be supported by norm here on i-club, but its to perform on the straight line, and a good weekend car

the current set up is just test of RnD for the bigger plan, from the built sheet this thing might actually trap in the mid to high 150mph so parachute is required , the LSx/T56 tranny combo weight just as much as the NA 2jz and the stock tranny,

brakes works fine right now
have you seen the CPR 240Z?
yup @ National Geographic " Compton Racing " hahahaha

Nice! I not an avid drag racer, but doesn't mean I won't support people who are. Only thing I don't care about are "expensive for the sake of expensive" dyno/show queens...I want any project car to actually get used and abused in one manner or another

And I didn't realize that about the LSx/T56 combo...no wonder people stuff these in just about anything :punchy:
