Yeah, when I read it was just going to be a "technical concept" I figured it was that thing again.

I also don't know why they decided to name it after the sound of a fart. BrrrRRRrrrrzzzzzzzzz

Also, with the subtitle of "Prologue" did you really expect them to meet release deadlines?

Thumbs down

Ok WTF??? why is this plastic piece of c@#p up again in Germany. At least when other companies release concept cars they look nice. This, on the other hand looks like something that Subaru does not have final plans for. I bet Toyota saw it and said it was not worth releasing a concept of.

I think you're confused. the clear car doesnt look like anything, Subaru is being deliberately vague about the design of their version. As for Toyota version of their FRS, theres like 50 pics of it already in this thread going back pretty much the whole year

krinkov today scion debuted in frankfurt the ft86 2 it ended up being orig concept w leds but burnt orange and supposedly sporting brembos. Neways I wonder if we dont get slightly different panels than sie germans. Confusing to say the least, given pebble beach.

WOOOHOOOO

Contrary to certain rumours flying about the internet, the Subaru model will only come as a RWD model, with no AWD in sight, only the second Subie to do so after the 1954 1500.

The 2.0-litre, naturally aspirated, direct injection 4-pot will churn out 200 hp and the centre of gravity will be set at around 17.7 inches from the ground, putting it in the same league as the Ferrari 485 Italia and Porsche Cayman.

Scion FR-S vs Subaru BRZ: one and the same?
Both cars will be manufactured next spring in Japan (Gumma) and will share the same suspension, engine and body. We’ll be able to tell them apart by their distinct font ends, however.

The BRZ will feature more standard equipment than the FR-S as well. Scion is positioning itself as a personalization guru, and its version will be sparer but offer tons of varied options.

That's not even a decent photoshop. Just cut and paste from the current models and tacked onto the FRS photo.
