Torn on which season pass to pick up...

Im torn right now.

N* and Heavenly season pass is only $299 BUT is only good Sun-Fri at N* (good for 7 days at Heavenly) and has 11 blackout dates for Holiday. On the plus side I could buy a cheap $50 ticket on Sat or Holidays.

The Squaw/Alpine pass is a little more expensive, $349, but is good 7 days a week at both resorts and only has 10 Holiday blackout dates.

But I also have to think when I go riding with people, where are they going to want to ride and i think that the Squaw/Alpine day pass cost a little more than the N*/Heavenly day pass.

What days do you usually go and where do your friends like to go? Most of my friends like northstar and heavenly.

I wish HV, SV, and Apline would work something out because SV just got Apline. It does not seam fair to the people that just got the triple threat and now can't ride SV

Your question should actually be triplethreat or the alpine/squaw lol. Without a doubt id get squaw/alpine if I was in your shoes. Squaw ftw!

Im pissed about this whole situation. for the last 3 years I've been getting double whammy passes to northstar and sierra, now you don't have that option. You have to choose one or the other and then add heavenly on top and I HATE Heavenly with a burning passion. If they are all part of (F)eil ski resorts then i dont see the problem in keeping the double whammy the way it was. Makes me sad (((

Yo, peeps! Pipe down on trying to convince Thomas & anyone else that they should rape & pillage the pow @ our awesome mtn. (Need a hint? See my location.)

GD916: Unless something changed over the summer, Sierra is still not owned by (F)ail Resorts Mgmt. That's why they are NOT included in the Epic Pass deal. Sierra is still operating under Booth Creek.

Oh, and if it's down to the 2 choices, go w/ the SquAwlpine pass, esp. if even ONE Saturday is a possibility. That 50 bucks you'd need to pay w/ the other pass more than justifies what you get w/ the SquAwlpine one.

So maybe your buddies prefer the other places. So what? Find a new crew of folks to shred with. I have a feeling that prices might be significantly higher for the version Squaw & Alpine put out next year. Jump on this year's awesome pricing! Just my $0.02, bruddah.

I think ill be riding on Fridays mostly. This is the first semester in like 3 or 4 years where i dont have a friday only class haha.

Fridays will be nice with less ppl too. So the Sat $50 pass would only be like a one time thing if i chose to do it.

Another note, we have a cabin in Truckee thats only a 20min drive from N*.. its prolly 35 or 40 mins from Squaw.

Yeah, one saturday and it makes the difference up anyway. Two saturdays and it's already worth more to go Sq/A.M.
