I can't believe that someone would pay almost $2,000,000 (2 MILLION) dollars for a car that they can't even take home... A car that has more rules then NASIOC... A car you can only use for a track event, a car you can't take home and stare at it while it sits idle in your garage, a car you can't show off to people (mere mortals)... Even if I had millions of disposable money every year, I still wouldn't buy that car... It's like driving someone elses car when they show up at a track day that you show up to and they let you drive it... same idea, screw that. I'd much rather have a Veyron then one of those. The Veyron isn't just fast as HELL, but its a luxury super car... A car you can drive with ease, a car you can take home and stare at all day... I'm sure that the FXX is super uncomfortable and a pure bred race car with no comfort at all... Which would you rather have? Lets pretend that you're allowed to take the FXX home just like any other car... Veyron VS FXX? Which would you rather own?

Ferrari postives:
1. VERY FAST around a track
Ferrari negatives:
1. It doesn't have any comfort features
2. You can't drive this longer then 30mins without feeling like you ran a 300mile marathon
3. The car consists of an engine, transmission, body, steering wheel, and two seats. THATS IT.
Bugatti postives:
1. VERY FAST around a track
2. Very easy to drive
3. 1001 hp, and two engines
4. Comfortable interior
5. A stereo
6. You can drive the car as a daily driver
7. Can corner amazingly well even though it's heavy, is faster then almost any car in the world both in a straight line and around corners.
8. Electronics that do anything from lowering/raising the car to a spoiler that acts as an air brake for when you're going 245mph and need to stop.
Bugatti negatives:
1. Not as fast as the FXX around a track
You'd rather take home an FXX, a car you could ONLY drive on a track because of how harsh the ride is and how impractical it is for anything other then being on a track. Instead you could have a Veyron which is a Super-SUPER car that is tamed enough to drive every day. You get a car that beats almost every car in the world at overall speed with all the comforts of home!
You can drive it around town and drive it to the track and not have to worry about trailing it, etc. Although the FXX is faster around a track with a professional driver at the wheel, people like you and me couldn't drive either car to it's limits to be able to compare which is faster around a track, we'd be limiting the car so instead of comparing which car is faster, it would be which DRIVER is faster.
I'd much rather take the Veyron home! I'd drive it to subaru meets and floss it everywhere I went!

Bugatti or Ferrari, i'll have a Ferrari.
the FXX is part of the Ferrari Corse Clienti program, so you get to drive it where ever their program goes. they were at Infineon 2 years ago. also, i wouldn't be surprise if you get to drive at Fiorano quite often.

BBC or BBC America? They are different. It's better to watch it from torrents because BBC America cuts out parts for commercials but keeps the run time to an hour, so you miss stuff.

These two cars aren't really comparable but I would take the FXX in a heartbeat over a Veyron. The Veyron is to be driven on a the street, and the FXX is basically your own personal F1 car. The FXX was developed basically as program that allows their clients to have much of the best of what they have, and you can provide feedback. It's also fitted with data recording and telemetry systems to provide Ferrari with data about the car's behavior. You basically become a partner to Ferrari, they give you the most badass car they have, and you let them study how their systems are working.
I personally would rather have the adrenaline associated with driving an FXX around a track and having all that racing technology and expertise at my beck and call. Not at all to take away from the veyron, but I don't give a crap if i have cushy seats or no radio with the music that comes out of those tailpipes. Anyway though, like I said, one is a road car and one is a ***** out track car, but if I had the money to look at either of these, I'd have both...

In terms of which goes faster around a track, yeah, the FXX wins, but at what cost? That's my point. You'd rather have that Ferrari, a car you couldn't even drive to it's limits then a Veyron, another car you couldn't drive to its limits?

And owning the FXX isn't merely just becoming an "owner" and only get to drive it on track days. You actually become a part of Ferrari and get to work with them on improving the car and what not.
Owning the FXX is really and truly for the billionaire car enthusiast

As for the whole Veyron or FXX thing, I'd go with a Veyron. I can't imagine that Ferrari being even remotely comfortable on one of my drives from Sac to SJ. Plus I bet taking the Veyron up to speed on 205 would be awesome (IF THEY WOULD EVER STOP WORKING ON THAT DAMN BIT OF ROAD)

S13 Episode 2-
Yea so they took down the FXX's time bc it's not really street legal(and has slicks). That new Murcielago looked ****in sexy, those lambos just keep getting better and better. Oh yea and talk about an epic race, Veyron vs. Mclaren F1, that's the clash of titans(even though the Veyron spanks the F1). I'm still waiting for Ken Blocks episode, thats gonna be sicky.
