Nvm, by looking at the photo tag I found more about it. It's the Castagna Aznom, sort of a Z06 meets 599 GTB. A vette with italian clothing. Looks pretty sweet.

Yep, theres a few companies now building cars off the C6 frame. Since the C6 spaceframe is is already designed to for a full fiberglass body its actually pretty easy for companies to design whatever body they want to bolt onto it as well.

Other car companies across the pond can't possibly want to use an American frame though... we can only built big motors and cars that are fast in a straight line, right?

It's a good point though. The c6 set-up is like a blank super car canvas. Pretty sweet.

even more versatile, if you remove the spaceframe, the drivetrain and front and rear subframes are connected by a rigid aluminum torque-tube backbone that connects the engine to the rear mounted transmission. This whole rolling assembly alone is used as the chassis under many old car restos nowadays.

They're pretty cheap too! Would love to pick one up and throw an old 56-62 MGA body over it

But you already knew about that.
oh yeah, thats probably the most well known of the c5/c6 based hotrods out right now but theres just more and more coming out of wood work, kind of a no-brainer when you can get all this for about the price of a bare 350 crate motor

BTW ever see the TLC special on the making of that car and Jays "Big Dog Garage" awesome
