Yeah, good point. Running higher octane can be detrimental to power if not tuned for it.

I dont care so much...just think of it as friendly competition since our cars put down similar numbers?

They don't have them here this next weekend. I am driving down to SF to see the Raider vs 49'er pre season game this weekend. Are they having drags @ Infineon? The next race in Eureka is the 23rd and I will be present for my 12 second slip!

10smebbin (aka 107)

Look, i know I can get faster.

These are all excuses but here are my reasons for not having the most optimal of times. First I want to caveat this with, "I had a blast this weekend racing!". Man the weather was perfect (Sunny and 70 degrees). I am very happy with my toon and the car feels great. That being said;

It's a new setup for me (blow through and FMIC),, it just drives different.

I have a new clutch, this is two fold. I had never launched this clutch until sat night. I did prolly 4 runs that night and the same on Sunday. 8 runs. I was being easy with the clutch tranny as I put it back together and the trust is still being built in this relationship

I am tunning my AVCR. It was setup but not tuned when I got my 100ct. Mike said the tunnign was up to me. Derek taught me how to mess with it correctly and I am dialing it in. I am not one to change setings in big amounts. I give 2-3% more each run in the appropriate gears and see how it does by recording my run on my Dephi. It's almost dialed but I am assuming once I can source some 100ct I will have to "re-tune" it.

I was running on the wrong oct and probably lost a little hp and tq.

I am not 150lbs

I am confident with practice I will be where I want to be with this setup (mid 12's) by the end of the season if not next race!

Did you finally get your avcr fixed? If you did, I would try to tweak it a little and you will for sure break into the 12's.
