My little cousin is racing there. He won the race a few weekends ago at Hollister and he's hoping to take this one home too!

What is the Subaru Event though?

 

They always have a VIP tent out there with all kinds of stuff. It's been years since I've been...

 

im gonna be there! sat and sun. staying in monterey at the sand dollar inn. look for my bugeye silver wagon

 

i was going to go on saturday but ended up doing the 50 mi MTB epic on thursday instead. my legs are shot and i'm too lazy to drive back down. It should be fun though. I've been going via the Subaru VIP thing for the past 2 or 3 years. the only thing is that the schwag gets worse each year.

anyone want two 4-day wrist bands for Sea Otter? one of them is unused, , the other i made really loose to facilitate sliding it off my hand. they give you admission to the entire venue for all 4 days. a $20 value... for free! or maybe you can promise to bring me back some schwag. like shirts, posters, nutrition samples, you get the point.

 

bah i raced in the Downhill 2 years ago and got 15th, and like i forgot about it this year, haha. Maybe ill get in shape and do it next year.

 

what did you guys think of the B9 Tribeca at sea otter? i'm still not diggin the front alfa styling.
