South Bay car storage

So I'm inheriting a 1970 Mercedes 280SL that currently has non-operating tags. My grandparents keep saying it can't be parked on the street due to its age, but I'm thinking it is due to the non-operating tags. Either way, I need a place to store this until I get it up and running that isn't going to break the bank. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm located in Sunnyvale.

My friends dad has a 73 or 74 SL...that he wants to sell...if you kept it in his spot he would fall in love with it and buy it if youre looking to sell it.

in mtn view.

Depends what needs to be done to get it running reliably. After that I can get the correct registration and stick it on the street.

We have our boat stored there. No problems to report. You can call them the day before and ask to have it out side by a certain time the next day and when you get there it is in their secure parking lot waiting for you!

I am not in charge of the bills, but I recall we got into pretty early and I seem to recall 225-250 a month. But for the safety and the accessibility it is worth the cost.

Oh and the rate is also based on size, we have a 23ft boat with trailer and deck is 25 feet, so I would imagine a car would be less.

aw snap, a Pagoda SL? My pops was looking at one, but he ended up with something else. What's wrong with the car? I think a spot with a little space to come in on the weekends to tinker with it would be ideal.

Try to figure out how long you're thinking it will be down.

Maybe we can work something out at my place and you can work on it here as well if you want. I've got 3 slots under my overhang. One has my caddy in it but pretty soon here that's going in the garage. The other two just have wood and **** that can be moved. I'd like to clean them out anyways.

Otherwise I'd just call around. There are a lot of storage places out there.

Thanks Ray. My grandparents should be back down here next week or the week after, so then I'll find out when I can get up and look at it (I think it is in Yuba City at the moment) and assess the situation.
