People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (search) sent Wholey a letter asking him to work with the group to release Bubba back in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine.

Another group calling itself People for Eating Tasty Animals reportedly offered Wholey a hefty price for the lobster. At Tuesday's price of $14.98 a pound, Bubba would retail for about $350."

 

Theres a (not so fine) line between ethical animal testing (because, as messed up as it is, we need to test on living things before they are released to us) and terrorist organization obsessed with an ideal.

PETA is a terrorist organization and should be treated as such; you can't just firebomb Hummer dealerships just because they are fuel inefficient and throw paint on someones $10,000 chinchilla coat and get away with it.

That is fear based manipulation of our consumer habits - Terrorism.

Lock them all up.
