So went out to see some ol drifting at Thunderhill, bout 9 cars in all, pretty dead thought there would be more. Heres some pics:

No, that is David Vodden's car- he is the CEO of Thunderhill. It is an ex-Showroom Stock A race car that was factory sponsored by Nissan. The car is naturally aspirated and has a cage in it. It's for sale, btw.

Yet Vodden will still drive TH faster in a N/A Z32 than most will in a TT one... ;)

It was a nice race car back in its day.

I have always wondered why there aren't more miatas in drifting. I would think that car would be the perfect candidate.

did anyone go there and take pics of the miata group that was on the track those same days (sat/sun)? I was on the track with the only GC impreza in the group with the white GT 40. I wasn't able to watch any of the drifting, but I could hear them from the other side of the paddocks
