Any of y'all wanna join forces w/ a knuckle-dragger @Sugar Bowl tomorrow? My original 2 passengers each had to bail, and I'd rather not do this day trip solo. Tix are ONLY 25 bux tomorrow! We can meet up points along I-80 that are east of Vallejo.

C'mon... let's do this!

^ Normally I would totally be up to go with you, but I'm heading up on Sunday. I pretty much exclusively ride Sugar, so PM me when you go up next and maybe we can meet up for a bit.
Hope you find someone to go with and have a great time!

WOOOOOO spring skiing!

Pretty sticky this afternoon... I've been home about 30 min and my skis are already waxed and ready for tomorrow

Oh! Does anyone know where I can get some cheap tele gear? I need boots and bindings, I wear a women's size 6.5. Nothing fancy, I just wanna learn and a buddy gave me some skis to mount the bindings on so I figured I'd just try to pick up the rest of the gear on the cheap.

oh my was it good.
?
more variable today than yesterday, but i left before it got too sloppy. the granite chief traverse turned out to be the call. the wind kept the snow crispy in the shade. but certainly spring skiing is ON.

looking like a huge storm door is opening this week.....magic end of march?

Bah! I forgot about this "2 planker" thread. I should have posted up here before I hit the slopes @Sugar Bowl last wknd along w/ the couple times I went to Squawllywood this season!

Anyway, I have a ticket to Alpine that I need to burn, so I've got this Sat targeted to slash around some pow off Sherwood & Scott chairs!

Yeah I didn't get up to the bowl until noon. It was pretty sweet till about 1:30- 2 PM, and then it got to the point where every once in a while my body was still moving but my skis weren't. Kinda scary at 40 mph so I decided to call it a day by about 3.

Wewt for the storm! I heard there will be 1 ft by Tuesday night, SICK!

To help w/ some of the flat run-outs I encounter when hitting up soft boundaries at a few resorts, I was considering picking up a pair of collapsible(sp?) poles. But after coming across this vid in another online forum, I'm DEFINITELY gonna grab a set to adapt the moves to my snowboarding! Enjoy!

^^ Haha! Yes, that is awesome! It looks like a knee injury waiting to happen tho I want his purple one-piece for 80s day this Thurs

I just demoed these from Granite Chief... tomorrow is gonna be SWEET! I have been eyeing these puppies for the entire season but I never get a chance to demo them when there is actual pow so I'm super stoked that I finally got them and it's snowing
