I finally got up the courage to call up Barsotti's this last week, and talked to Steve Barsotti himself. My car was having that dying problem like it did at the Davis meet, and I took the car up to Barsotti's today and he managed to diagnose the problem and fix the car with a new starter damn fast and all done today

Barsotti does all sorts of stuff from engine work, to engine swaps, to repairing subaru's. Hes a total subaru shop too, and I'm surprised he hasnt shown up more on these boards than he has

I highly recomend anyone up here in the greater Sacramento region give them a car when they need some non-warranty work done

Thanks for the recommendation Kostamojen, I just called them to get a quote on an OEN Spoiler installation, their quote beat Roseville Subaru's by $300.

PacificMartin I just called them and they're located in Newcastle, which is about 20 mins up I80 East toward Auburn.

 

Oh, I forgot to mention, Steve Barsotti said he's currently working on a 450hp WRX... niiiiicee...

 

It's perfect for me too. My parents live up in Newcastle, so I'm up there at least once a week, more if I'm modding in my dad's garage. So thanks Kostamojen.

Frankly, I think changing the starter is too simple to judge how good the mechanic is. So Steve, let them do your engine swap and get back to us

 

Oh, I havent asked about swap prices yet, but I will eventually I know he has done a few of the swaps around here, so he definatly knows whats up in that reguard
