Road Closure: Mt. Hamilton Rd. / San Antonio Valley Rd. 3.20.18-4.??.18
 

There was some construction being done to widen the 1-lane bridge at Isabel Creek, but apparently the recent storms have caused a time-restricted closure of the road.

The closure is between 6 and 7 miles East of Lick Observatory, between 8:30am-4pm, Monday - Saturday. They had an end date on the sign, but I can't remember what it said and (let's face it) they'll go over anyway.

FYI, If you're coming from Mines Rd, you can make it about 10-miles past The Junction.

Calaveras Rd near the reservoir is still closed.

...and still closed. Current estimate is Jan. 1, 2019, but I doubt it'll open till at least next spring / summer. That should bring it up to 3 years of closures.
