I'm not saying that $169 million is not a lot of money but doesn't that seem cheap for a purchase price?
Nürburgring for sale, yours for only $169 million

I've been following their FB group for what feels like 4-5 yrs now. It's amazing and spectacular how much support their movement is getting from all of the race teams.

Probably due to the fact that the new owners will be losing/investing a decent sum just to turn it into a profitable investment.

I wonder if as much testing that goes on at the ring, would it be profitable for a company, like Mercedez, to buy it and rent out time to other car manufacturers to use. Obviously there's a lot more hidden costs, such as maintenance, insurance, etc but there's gotta be a way to make money or come out close to even.

Can't a group of auto companies just come together to buy the track?

It was doing just fine before the whole NuroDisney bull****! Put things back the way they were (or at least separate the 'ring from it)...problem solved.

Seriously, who would go to Germany for DISNEY? That place is all math and engineering, there is no time for happy thoughts!
