edgar, :) |
Wow good one. It made no sense when you first said it, and still doesn't. Thanks for playing.
|
lol, did you leave it open?
|
Story please.
I hope you realized this before you went for a spin |
lol. No I just forgot to click it completely shut...so when I started the car it dripped out fairly rapidly.
I'm so glad I checked it before I went inside for the night, or 5q of Mobil 1 in my carport would not have been fun to wake up to. |
wait i think i need to bust out a pen and notebook.
|
The real question is:
How many quarts did you go through before you realized this and startd cursing? jason |
None... not enough to even be worth topping off...but enough that it would've all leaked out by morning.
|
why would you change your oil?
|

They really shouldn't let mexicans use the internet.  lol |
I have had a fumoto valve on my last 3 cars. Makes for a oild change that is a non event.
I usually do not even put the car on ramps just open the hood unscrew the oil filler cap and then drain the oil, close the valve replace the filter. At that point you do not have to go unde the car again. Fill up with oil all done. I never change sequence since bad things can happen :) glad you noticed it early. glad you did not leave it over night and finally glad you did not drive it off in the morning with no oil. :) Cheers Nick |
