Recommendation on some decent brake rotors for 05 STi Brembos?

Hey there, it looks like I need some replacements. As much as I want to splurge on some DBA 5000 (at $600) fronts, I just can't afford it right now.

I've browsed online and found some Stoptech, and other companies that offer slotted front brake rotors for 330ish fronts relieved me.

So my question is, which company should I go with? This car is a daily driver, so PLEASE keep that in mind when you suggest on which one to get.

just get some cheap blanks like girodisc or even the autozone ones they work fine and are ideal for dd. if you want the slotted rotors get Centric ones they are the same as stoptech but cheaper

i have the dba 4000xs's on all all four corners, but i think you can't go wrong with stoptech's.

Hmm, since DBA 4000 fronts are 340ish, and Stoptech are 320ish, the price isn't that much of a difference. How you like your DBAs?

There's so many choices, StopTech, DBA, Racing Brake, VOXA, and more!

I have dba standard slotted on my sti. Got them from ken at WRX brakes - all 4 corners for less than $500. They work great with axis ultimate pads.

Napa rotors are good quality and cheap. All 4 corners can be had for around $300.

I was in the same predicament the end of last year. I wanted the DBA 5000, but couldn't afford it.
So I got DBA 4000 slotted all the way around. I love them. They look good and maybe its just mental, but I think they are better than stock.

I also have DBA4000 slotted rotors front and rear on my sti with Hawk HPS pads and I absolutely love them, no problem with them at all and i have about 20k on the breaks and they are going strong still. Pair those rotors with some Hawk HP+ and its like throwing an anchor out the window when you stop.

* Also I think I got my brake package for around 850 shipped and that was for DBA400 rotors f&r, Hawk HPS pads f&r, goodridge ss lines f&r, and Motul RBF600 fluid (3 bottles)

i got some centric/powerslot (same company now) rotors from Speedelement and GST. they gave me better pricing than the online vendors like rallysport and wrxbrakes.

For a daily driver I would recommend oem factory replacements.

OEM replacement rotors for the STI are insanely expensive - you can only get them from the stealership afaik.

Napa, dba standard, powerslot and centric are the cheapest I found.... And they still cost an arm and leg. WRX rotors are much much much cheaper than the sti.

for the sti i would just go for the dba standard or stoptech/centric then. powerslot and 4000 series are a bit more iirc
