so a friend of mine who is with UCPD told me that an officer recieved a call about screaching tires in a big lot around decoto. he drops by the lot, turns his lights off and rolls in the lot with about 30 "riced" up cars. he calls for back up and when they arrive they seal off the all the exits to the lot and issues serious sitations to everyone involved.

i was also told that a wrx tried to make a break for it and gunned it to one of the exits only to be intercepted by a po'd officer with a gun pointed towards the car.

on top of that he told me that prior to that, racers met at UCKK before caravaning to the lot.

did anyone else hear about this?? i just want to know the story. its very interesting..

 

another story last weekend...

family relative with hayward PD... calls me on the cell, yelling that they just pulled over an evo going 130 on the 880....

too bad canine wasnt involved...

I'm curious what they charged "everyone" with, especially those who they didn't see racing (if there were 30 cars, they couldn't have been all racing the instant the cop showed up).

good, i think they deserve it.

 

loitering, illegal mods, probably some curfew violations, illegal assembly, lots of stuff.

they deserve whatever they get. Take it to the track.

 

oh yeah, he also said that they formed a horse shoe around the strip somewhere and when one of the supervisors approached them in the middle, there was a sudden pause and then everyone bolted to there car. thats resisting arrest right there.

so one else heard about this?? or was inVOLVED?? hmmMM??

 

wow, that sucks because now whenever police see a group of cars..like the wrx's..they will not be too friendly towards them. but when are they ever friendly?

i havn't heard about that, what i've heard about is thee 7th street "runs" shooting. 2 people were kill on the strip and one died on the way to the hospital. The oakland PD are on a non-stop rampage to find illegal street racing and i guess that's why back up was called in this case. Usually, the cop would just turn his siren on and scatter the ricers.

 

i was at union landing last night ( in n out to be exact getting food because i just came from the logan powderpuff game ) and when i dropped my friend to his car ( behind lowes ), i saw a silver evo with a bunch of other cars gathering up or meeting up. they wernt all ricers, there were some american cars as well. but i dont know if thats who your talking about..
