LOL back from the dead, I guess I missed your replies.

Since I slimmed down my bike collection, I am down to 2x for myself. The one pictured above, and a track-frame (58cm) based single speed on a pair of 25mm Conti R-Aces. I rode that one 15 miles yesterday to get groceries, a sammich and some beers - rode all the way back with groceries and a bag of charcoal on my back, not un-usual. Often when I am on the SyCip, I am also pulling a trailer with 2 kids, a laptop and a diaper bag.

Don't mind bumps too much? Not much travel? Lock out? LOL - no shocks here, man - just metal. Heh. You really need to take a spin on the Hookworms - they are not what you think. Pumped up to 65psi, they are like a large, grippy slick road tire, and not cushy. I have spent years on bikes and used many different tires - these are amazing. To me, they feel like they have less rolling resistance than my old 1.75" Continental messenger tires I used on my MTB in the city.

If you ever get out to HMB, the bike shop out on Kelly has a WICKED new MOOTS Ti frame - never seen one like it. Chain stay is the rear "spring" and it has a tiny damper on the seat stay. Going to check it out next time I am there.
