Opinions please..haaa.

Ok. I have an 04 white wagon.

I like smooth clean...etc. As it sits now it has tinted windows. Painted skirts. Painted mirrors. Soon will have either gold sti wheels or bronze grids.

Saw an STi scoop for sale pretty reasonable price.....how do you think that would look on a wagon...might get some fog covers as well.

I mean the wagon doesn't have the wide fenders so the giant scoop might look rediculously out of place.

what do you guys think? STI front work up? or is that rice since I do not have an sti motor and my car isn't gonna see to many power upgrades for a while...all suspension is my goal for atleast a year or two.

So yeah.? scoop or no? If I get the scoop should I get an STI grill and fog covers? Or save my money and get a borla hush? or a new rear sway bar.

Remove the roof rails, and lower it with good suspension. You'll thank yourself everytime you drive it. Buying crappy body addons is what appearance-conscious riceboys do. ;) Not to mention they increase the likelihood that you'll be targeted by vandals/police.

Exhaust/power, suspension, and brakes, before any appearance mods. Go > Show. :D

I'd skip all the STI stuff .

The scoop would look too big on the wagon. As for the fog covers, I use my fogs all the time, I wouldn't want to cover them up unless I had STI headlights.

Get a RSB instead!

sweet....sounds about right to me.

I have never been into add ons....like body kits and stuff...even in my honda days.

But I do really like the STi front end....I like factory body stuff.

As for the roof rails...I need them. That's why I bought a wagon. I have a yakima rack that holds 4 bikes and winter it holds 4 boards..haaa. It's off right now because my bum knee says I can't ride...but I have to keep them up there.

Pictures of my car are in my gallery.

and being targetted by vandals and police is another reason I went wagon...got sick of both of them. And seems as how I have a rediculously expensive stereo in the works (on my scale of expense) I really don't want to draw to much...

So I guess I'll stick with my original idea...how does this sound.......

The new STI pink wagon specific springs. Perrin rear sway. Steering rack bushings. 17inch bronze grids. Mud/snow full on gnarly tires on my stock wheels?

Sound better..haaa.

sounds similar to my plan :D

I may save some money and just put in a sedan 20mm RSB... I'm still waiting for some reviews/photos on those damn STI pink wagon springs :(

good luck!

i've seen a white 04 wagon around the sunset with a sti hood scoop. it doesnt look too bad. i have one on mine but i think its a little too big.

Kostamojen Jul 26, 2004 04:46 PM

STI Scoop + STI foglight covers would be awesome on a wagon. I would do it.

kravdra Jul 26, 2004 04:57 PM

And I was wanting to get a smaller hoodscoop (OBS' dont actually "use" them)

But I think ur plan is awesome (and I agree w/ what everyone said, but kostamojen, i think it'd be neat, not awesome ;)) I wish I had enough to do it :)

razorlab Jul 26, 2004 05:30 PM

You'd be amazed how well the sti fog covers make the front end complete and smooth:

I'm glad I put them on, and they just pop-off in two seconds with your hands (no screws) if you need to use your fogs. (the fogs stay installed behind them)

Pass on the STi scoop, it looks gaudy even on the STi IMHO.

WindingRoad Jul 26, 2004 06:22 PM

wow, i didnt know you can keep the fog lights installed. if i do get those covers, is there a way to secure them and make it difficult for those five-fingered discounters?

you had to tell everyone... HA HA

edgar, ;)

[QUOTE=OneManArmy] like factory body stuff.

me too. I dont like any aftermarket add ons on a body. Are we talking about girls? :D

kravdra Jul 26, 2004 10:26 PM

Yea, I think the foglight covers look sweet. nice car!

Zoeb2s Jul 26, 2004 10:28 PM

I agree with Bryan on the STi hood scoop, its way too big, its not like the 02/03 hood scoop.

The fog lamp covers however make the car look a lot better, especially WITHOUT the pink STi stickers :)
