onemanarmy's cherry popped!!!!

Ray came over the other day to drink some beers and swap some parts on my trade in. I needed an exhaust manifold and some struts. So officially after 108,000 miles Ray has officially had his modding cherry popped, first mod (power wise) Crucial P&P mainifold with Injen crossover pipe. We also got is Spec C Sti struts and pinks put on.

P.S.
For those of us who know Ray really well... Ohhhh the title is sooooo sweet...

so when is ray getting is big turbo on? Or is he still trying to duke it out with SOA on getting it covered under warranty?

ipozestu 07-08-2007 06:09 AM

He's done duking it out with SOA. He finally got the turbo and the power steering pump replaced. I do have a 20g sitting in the garage. A little big for his 2.0. I have to talk him into quieting down his exhaust so we can pull the cats. I going to keep pushing my let over junk onto him.

WHen on earth would I have time to take pictures? Between drinking beers and having two cars taken apart and twelve strut/spring combos lying around.

subie OCD 07-08-2007 10:11 AM

Put the 20g on, its not too big....it just needs a lot of supporting mods.

ipozestu 07-08-2007 10:15 AM

It's a TD06, a little laggy for the 2.0.

Yea, the title is fitting in more ways than one.

telling me....scared the crap out of me.

I wouldn't mind running your exhaust. Thing is sick. My exhaust with cats is louder than most without. Way louder..haa. I am minus the one cat I blew up. Pretty sure one is toast...that day I through the CEL.

I'm looking forward to the sways and rain gutters too..haaa.

Thanks for all the hard work jeff. My knuckle still hurts like hell. Sorry for dropping the ladder dude. I was a bit spaced out at that time. My sleep clock is all messed up.

The jack stands where so you could put the rotas on the superwagon.

OneManArmy 07-09-2007 10:18 AM

oh....and hugo. The manifold are DEFINATELY ported. We lined them up side by side and there is a TON of metal pulled out of the manifolds that you guys turned down. TON. We measured it. Talking about an 1/8th inch or more on each. plus the internal turns that have been knife edged. It's a really nice piece.

ipozestu 07-09-2007 10:45 AM

I pulled the rain gaurds on Thurs. The Rota are on the beater. It looks pretty sick. Almost no clearance in the rear, but it fits without rubbing. I decided I am going to paint the rear/front bumper and everything below the trim, black. It'll look cool as hell.
