Oil change locations near Los Gatos/Campbell?

Hey,

I'm sick of shasty experiences from Jiffy Lube, Speedee Lube places, where is a legitimate, reasonably priced location to get my oil changed at. I live in Los Gatos, and don't want to drive 30 miles away for an oil change, but willing to travel a ways away for good legitimate work. (and maybe leaving my things untouched.)

Suggestions?
Maybe what you paid for it as well, what oil you put in.

Thank in advance.

More like 5-15. I changed my oil for the first time this weekend (I have a Jiffy Lube hookup back home for free) and it was so simple, I can't see how people would pay for someone to do it. Just try to do it yourself!

Speedy Oil on Los Gatos Blvd and Los Gatos/Almaden does a good job. I had a friend that worked there. Much better then jiffy and the like.

There is a place on HWY 9... It's a little shop in an old Gas station... I can't remember the name... It was Los Gatos Something... From 17 going towards Saratoga they will be on the right hand side just after North Santa Cruz... There will be a bunch of cars in their lot... They did all of the work on my Subie... I took my car there for everything, oil change, tune-up, belts, blown HG... I think I was one of their best customers... they hooked me up with an oil change for 20 bucks... but they might charge you a little bit more...

I know exactly where you're talking about, my girlfriend works in a salon 20 steps from there. I would have never suspected quality work from that place.

Do you guys just pick up oil filters from kragen's?

Get them from Subaru. Pay the extra dollar.

+1 on doing it yourself. It's so easy that you'll hate yourself for paying for it for so long.
