OK out of the ones you linked I put up the numbers..........

if thats the best he has done, he doesnt do well at dodgers stadium

2-3 is not a good record. One win we were just serving up batting practice.

Lincecum just can't locate his fastball. 80% of his fastballs were up above the belt. I don't seem him lasting too long as a starter, unless Bochy is stubborn. Lincecum got lucky with all the walks he gave out, but sooner or later that will catch up to him and those walks will turn into runs scored.

As good as Romo is as a closer, I think Lincecum should be eased into the closer role. Romo is great against righties, but he's too predictable against lefties when he throws nothing but fastballs to them. Romo is perfect as the setup guy (esp when he can face more righties than lefties).

Lincecum does have control issues still. Yes he's awesome when he's on it, but real bad when not. It'd be a bold move to make him a closer considering you don't know if you'll get good Lincecum in a tight spot. Yea he did great off the bench in the playoffs and maybe he might make a great option, but can be get those 3-6 final outs in tight spots. Walking a lot of dudes generally doesn't make you reliable

Chase Field
1 -2

Dodger Stadium
2 -3

OK out of the places he has had more than 1 decision these are the only places he has a losing record. Dodger stadium has the most losses away from home.

Well that's why I said he should be eased into the position. Start him out as a long reliever, then gradually try him out for the closer position. Velocity will still be an issue for him as a starter as the season goes on. Moving him to relief would help in that regard. Just gotta hope he finds his control back with his fastball.
