I'm also considering the HTC One as I've had HTC Windows "smartphones" from them in the past and loved them. I'm just a bit hesitant about the lack of a MicroSD port and the non-replaceable battery. Other than that, it looks like a nice phone.
I haven't really played around with an S3, though I have played with the S4 a bit. I only buy a new phone every two years so I like to get the "latest and greatest" because the hardware is outdated so quickly. How much do S4s go for on the used market?

Thinking of switching from my IPhone 4 to the Sam S4. Thoughts? My coworker says there's not much difference from the S3 to the S4, better processor and slightly larger screen.. I see how Thomas feels about them lol...
Better question may be: is it worth switching from IPhone to Droid? My heart is leaning to yes..

If you are not married to IOS in any form and use google services religiously like gmail, google search, google maps, youtube, google drive, google plus. Then your experience will be great as long as its a current phone.
Customization is just a bonus to the services google brings.

Word thanks Thomas. I'm not all that crazy with getting into phone tech and making super custom settings.. I like it cause you can wifi hotspot, tether and whatnot. And the bigger screen would be sweet. I have an "upgrade" available and a couple hundred in best buy gift cards.. Only reason I'm looking into changing.
I'd say your transition will be based more on how integrated you are to IOS. If you love your itunes and games, then I'll say stick with it.

Then I have Google Music for my phone. The way ive got mine set up, anytime I add music to my itunes library, Google music manager will auto upload that music to my cloud.
Google will let you upload 20,000 songs for free. So anywhere you have access to internet/data (PC, laptop, cell phone data) you have access to your music.
Another benefit since its cloud, is it does not take up storage space on your phone. So I have no issues because I have unlim data, but the app will also let you make whatever songs you choose "available offline" so you can still play them without using data.
Google Music is a free app.
Another advantage to Android over iphone (kind of goes along with the music storage) is that android allows REMOVABLE storage. Heck, you dont have unlim data but have 8,000 songs... they fill up your 32GB iphone.. get an external 32GB or hell a 64 GB SD card and put all your music on there.
I know people that carry 64GB cards with just their music. Then if they want to save something, they swap in another card. Might not work for everyone, but at least you have the option to if you want to.

Yeah, it looks like a nice phone too, but I don't think I can wait that long. My speakerphone stopped working a couple of weeks ago so I can't hear the phone ring anymore (only the vibration), and then the regular ear speaker quit working on Tuesday so I can't hear anyone talking anymore, unless I have it plugged into speakers.
I swear these phones have a built in self destruct feature. The last three phones that I've had have all become temperamental at 1.5 years old and lose almost all functionality at 2 years old.
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with the LG Optimus G Pro?

Let me know how you like it, I've been thinking of getting one of those for a while now.

Was just messing around with it for a bit. Not bad, not AMAZING.
Bit laggy when streaming from a browser window (could be my internet, been crappy this week).
Gunna play with it some more and look up some cool tips/tricks. But honestly for $35 + tax, worth it.
