I had Fitzgerald last year. Such a disappointment. Kolb just doesn't like to throw his way.
plays well with others

because thats how i roll.

Honestly hope someone vetoes that trade. Sounds to me like someone that's giving up and dumping players.
Welker... guaranteed top 5 in WR stats overall every year. Slow start but it will pick up ALWAYS does.
Bennett. Top 3 TE stats this year.
What's kenny getting? Harvin... solid start but not as good as either of the guys going in the trade. Fitz... WAY on the downside of the spectrum.
And on top of that... it leaves kenny with NO TIGHTEND at all. So he'll have to go to the free agents and find one.
So he looses two guys that are 1/2 level starters and ends up with an empty roster slot and 2 guys that are 3/4 level starters. That trade sucks for everyone that actually wants to win in the leagues except for you.

I wish I could see what the plus minus is on that trade.

Yea that's odd. Yet he also is trying to trade me Stevie Johnson and Denarius Moore for Charles. If he was giving up, why would he want Charles.Originally Posted by OneManArmy

I'm not saying he's giving up... but it's a really bad trade. And you giving up charles would weaken your team which helps jboogy and plus... he could then trade say Ridley strait up for Charles and since no one stopped the first bad trade why would they stop the second...
Then he goes from having a 5th or 6th place team to a top 3 team instantly. He's basically got McCoy and a bunch of back ups at RB.
Just saying... wouldn't surprise me to see it happen. I've seen a team fold it up and help another team before. And like I said... not saying that's what's happening but it seems odd to me to be willing to go from one of the hottest TE's in football to an open TE slot and really gain nothing.
None of the players in the trade are upgrades. Harvin is doing well but that will taper off when A.P. gets back and when he gets hurt. LOL.

Yea, Minnesota isn't expected to do much. So that rules Harvin out for big games. And Kolb just never wants to throw to Fitzgerald for some reason. Yet Bennett is gonna have a major year for the Giants. After watching last night, Eli likes throwing to him. So there is major upside for jboogy and nothing but downside for Kenny.Originally Posted by OneManArmy

I really think Its too early to tell if some ones done or not. Kolb and Fitz might connect later down the season, you'll never know until then. I also think once Hernandez gets healthy Welker won't get as much ***** thrown his way. Harvin and Bennett are both studs.Originally Posted by bluwrxwgn

If it wasn't for the empty TE slot I probably wouldn't have questioned the trade. But he's screwing himself and he's not really upgrading anywhere.
He's got 6 WR's right now... after this he'll have 7.
He's got 1 TE right now... the number 1 TE in the NFL right now by a large margin... after this... 0.
So he downgrades at TE. The only one out there worth a damn right now is Daniels... maybe Rosario. But either way it's a massive massive down grade.
At WR he doesn't really need much help. If he was trading for a better WR and a lower level TE for an upper level TE and a lower level WR then it might make sense.
But picking up 2 WR's is retarded at this point.
But what do I know... I just see someone giving away the best TE in the game and helping you out a butt load. All you're really doing is gambling that welker will go back to being welker and that's not to big a gamble.

Please vote against it if you don't like it. No hard feelings. As for Welker I think he's slowed down a bit. Maybe of age, maybe he's disgruntled with the Pats because he didn't get a big contract? Just my opinion.Originally Posted by bluwrxwgn
Yea, welker had one year under 1000 yds receiving. Hard to think he'll have that again.

I'm all for trades. I find that I pretty much never get trades I want. I'll offer someone a trade that helps us both but they'll turn it down because they want more. It's like... dude... look at the numbers. I'm projected to be 10 more for the season and you're at 30 more for the season and some how I'm still screwing you? So I rarely trade. This is a crazy good trade. And like I said... the only think that caught my attention was that Kenny would be without a tight end and I knew he was trying to make a trade for an RB as well. I'm not sure what's going on there.
If I were you I'd try to figure out some way to get bennett though. Dude is killing it. LOL.
Welker... I don't think he's slowed down. I think he is probably disgruntled. I think it's a case of a team not really grooving right now. They're in love with the TE position right now. That'll change and welker will have a couple games with 10 plus catches.
Harvin... he stays healthy he could be huge but he'll get hurt. LOL!
General Pimpin'
And I don't think us users can veto a trade really. It comes down to the commish I think. So it'll probably go through no matter what... unless gagan got like 8 votes against. LOL.

I read somewhere that they have a new offensive coordinator. So there might just be some growing pains there.Originally Posted by OneManArmy

Honestly its the Welker aspect of it that throws my flag up. If it was straight up, Fitz for Bennett, I would say that was a fair trade.

The new OC / Quarterbacks Coach is a familiar face to the organization though as it is Josh McDaniels (the same guy that was with the Broncos / Rams). He was the OC when Brady had his 50 TD season back in 2007 (i.e. the Patriots 18-1 Season). The problems are probably coming from there being several new people on the Offense since the last time McDaniels was there, but he was actually with the team at the end of last season as a Assistant Coach.Originally Posted by bluwrxwgn
