Unhappy Need help from fellow I-clubbers

Hi,

I need to borrow a Subaru wheel lock key from you guys. I lost mine on the track about a month ago, but the new one I just ordered from Subaru has a different key from the old one.

Can someone preferably close to Fremont area borrow your wheel lock key? I'm not sure if its year dependent, but mine is a MY06. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to loosen the old locks to put on my new ones...

Appreciate the help!

There are about 7 different keys. Finding another owner with the same key might be a challenge. If you're close enough to here I can let you borrow one of mine for a few minutes. I've got 'em all. Like Pokemon.

Wow I didn't know that. Must be a coincidence that I had a friend who had the same key as I did then during that track day. Dummy me left the key on there and it must have flew off when I was driving.

I can drop by Stevens Creek during lunch hour one day this week, will that work for you?

Thanks.

I did the same thing at our Eq tuning track day, i felt like a jackass.....it's the second time i've lost that damn thing. i was rolling around on my r componds with 60 threadwear for almost two weeks after the track day and i just ended up using like a 3/4'' 12 point socket and hammered it on there just enough to bite, then broke the locking lugs free and replaced them with some left over stock ones i had laying around.

I headed up to Stevens Creek Subaru, and the parts folk have been great! They spent the time and effort to look up the wheel lock key for me and helped me take off the wheel locks as well.

+1 for Anthony/Ryan and the parts dept!
